First-Year Student Orientation - Virtual
Description
Incoming freshman students will learn about Palm Beach State College, support services, student life and more! We will walk you through the advising process and get you registered for your classes.
Questions & Answers
First-year orientation is for students who never attended any college before. Transfer orientation is for students who have previously attended another college or university and is new to PBSC.
If you are pursuing an associate’s degree (AA or AS) or College Credit Certificate (CCC), you are expected to attend an orientation. Students who are pursuing a Career Certificate Program (CCP) should attend the information session of their program. Current dual enrollment and non-degree seeking students are NOT required to attend any orientation.
During the orientation you will have the opportunity to speak with your first semester advisor, get your first semester of classes, learn about campus resources and discuss the necessary next steps based on your identified academic pathway.
